The 2015 Boston Celtics will open the regular season at home against the Philadelphia 76ers this Wednesday. The Celtics have emerged from the preseason as a contender in the East with strong play from Marcus Smart and a very deep bench that will allow Head Coach Brad Stevens to tinker with a 10-man rotation if he so desires.
“This Celtics team can beat anybody on any given night,” GM Danny Ainge tweeted recently.
The fact that the team is so deep could be a problem with the players who will not be in the normal rotation, a problem teams like the San Antonio Spurs have solved. If the goal is a championship run, then the entire team has to be on the same page. Brad Stevens is a great coach, lets see if he can be the great communicator and get his team to buy in.
